In spite of working in the IT industry for over a decade both in India and abroad, when it came to choosing an IT partner for my own venture, It took me over an year to get the right company. For me, as a start-up, there were some major concerns besides the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). I needed a company who could believe in my dream and was willing to bet his growth on my growth, whenever there is a concern from my side, this company should keep all the complexity to himself and provide me a simple solution and quickly. I wanted to run faster and the last thing I wanted was a partner who shows me technological bottlenecks rather than the solution.
At thoughtnet, I got all of these and today on the hind side I feel great about my own decision at choosing them as a partner. Besides addressing the key concerns of TCO, Low Initial Cost, Absolutely no concerns of procurement of hardware & software and integration, hassle free development & customization effort and rapid time to market, I think the clincher was the ethical value system followed by them.
